Wedding Ceremonies That Feel Like You

Your wedding ceremony should be the best bit of your entire wedding day. Not just the legal formality before the party starts, but the moment where you actually feel the significance of what you're doing. The bit your guests remember. The bit that makes everyone laugh and cry (the good kind of crying).

I create wedding ceremonies that tell your story, reflect your values, and completely and authentically reflect you. No generic scripts. No one-size-fits-all approach. Just a beautifully crafted ceremony that sounds like you actually wrote it (even though I did the heavy lifting).

Who This Is For

My wedding couples are typically in their mid-30s to 50s – often second marriages, blended families, or couples who've been together a while and know exactly what they want. My couples value quality, authenticity, and a ceremony that treats them like adults with interesting lives, not characters in someone else's fairy tale.

You might be planning an elegant celebration at a country house, an intimate gathering in your garden, or a sophisticated ceremony at an historic venue. Wherever you're getting married, you want it to feel personal, meaningful, and worth the journey you've taken to get here.

How We'll Work Together

  • floral-flower-maroon

    Let's Chat

A relaxed conversation (no pressure, I promise) where you tell me about yourselves, your vision for the day, and what you're hoping for from your ceremony. This can be over the phone, on video, or in person – whatever suits you best.

  • floral-flower-maroon

    Getting to Know You

I'll send you a detailed questionnaire that helps me understand your relationship, your journey together, and what matters most to you. This is where the magic starts – these answers become the foundation of your ceremony.

    Crafting Your Ceremony

I'll write your bespoke ceremony script, weaving in your stories, your values, and your personalities. You'll receive the draft with plenty of time to review, request changes, and make it absolutely perfect.

  • floral-flower-maroon

    The Rehearsal

We'll run through the ceremony together so everyone knows what's happening and when. This is also your chance to practice those vows and get comfortable with the process.

    Your Wedding Day

I arrive early, handle all the ceremony details, and create a warm, confident atmosphere. My job is to make sure your ceremony flows beautifully so you can be fully present in the moment. I am devoted to your ceremony ( only) on your special day.

Making It Personal

Your ceremony can include traditional rituals or whatever else makes it meaningful for you:

  • Handfasting or hand-binding rituals
  • Unity candles, sand ceremonies, or rose exchanges
  • Ring warming by your guests
  • Involving children from current or previous relationships
  • Cultural traditions that matter to you
  • Readings or music that speak to your relationship
  • A touch of humour (yes, please)
  • Moments of quiet reflection

The goal isn't to tick boxes – it's to create a ceremony that feels deeply, authentically yours.

A Note About Legalities

In England, celebrant ceremonies aren't currently legally binding. This means you'll need to complete the legal part separately – most couples do a quick registry office signing either before or after their celebrant ceremony.

I know this sounds like extra hassle, but here's the silver lining: it means your ceremony can happen anywhere (not just approved venues) .It can include absolutely anything you want. No restrictions. No time limits. Any location. Complete freedom to create the ceremony you actually want. A blank canvas,

I'll guide you through the legal process and make it as straightforward as possible.
